Surrounding the uplifted bedrock in the center of this large crater
is mottled terrain. What possibly caused this?

Well as usual with Moroccan business, the rumors and half-truths never cease
and only grow with the value of the stones. Half the Moroccans here have this
material.
It is in the lab, confirmed same material, and is being sold at Tucson.
