Mike,
Looks like you are the only one to make a find in Cronan Ranch?

Subject: [meteorite-list] Sutters Mill - Proper Care Guide
Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone has a developed a how to guide for caring for
selling it to
another collector, I would think an air-tight vial or jar, or even a membrane
box would suffice.

Hi Mike,
The quick answer from me would be to pack it up and mail it to me as quickly as
possible!! ;-)
Just kidding of course, glad you were able to buy a piece from a lucky finder!
Best Regards,

Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone has a developed a how to guide for caring for
this meteorite.
I've heard it should be refrigerated to keep bacteria from growing on
it , but i also heard, freezing it damages the crystals.
I'm also curious, doesn't bacteria grow on everything and all
meteorites equall
PS: As always I could go wrong too...

Or as Mike Gilmer just reminded me of, the infamous CM type spent toilet
plunger I was approached with awhile back! I seem to have a way of attracting
these freaks.
Lets hope for some more legitimate finds from this major event.

Having come from Coloma I'm pretty sure that is weathered asphalt. Otherwise

Well...I spent two days out in the Coloma and Lotus Park area searching
for the illusive Sutter Mill meteorite. I was there on the 25th with some
light rain showers to deal with. The heavier rain occurred the next day I
understand. Then I went yesterday the 30th. I had no luck with both days
deo I posted earlier was a perfect example of this.
