Brian Marsden, Eminent Astronomer and Comet/Asteroid Tracker, Dies
Cambridge, MA - Dr. Brian Geoffrey Marsden passed away today at the age
of 73
predict that Swift-Tuttle would not return until
late 1992. This prediction proved to be correct.

with Brian's name in the title, I knew it was very sad news:

Dr. Marsden was a wonderful man that I had the great pleasure to
correspond with over the last decade,
I meant to write the same thoughts but I 'm too sad. I will miss him.
