Just got back from Denver Show.  I had too much weight to take on the plane and not enough time to ship so I rented a car and drove home with my goodies.  1429 miles in 21 hours flat.  Stopped only for gas.

I picked up a couple of nice specimens from an old collection and will post photos sometime this week.  In the mean time, here is a photo taken on August 27th of Mars from Evolution Lake in the high Sierra (10,500 ft. and no light pollution).  It was our first attempt at trying to get a star trail exposure so be kind!!!  This was the 11th night of our John Muir Trail trip.  It took us 19days to hike the 211 miles from Yosemite Valley to the top of Mt. Whitney.  Mars was blazing at us almost every night on the trip.

Best Wishes to all.......
