A couple of offers....
The Eads meteorite was found in Kiowa County, Colorado in 1975. One stone was found in a corn field and sold by the finder to Allan Show. This meteorite was classified by Alan Rubin at UCLA at a stone chondrite, H4, S3, W3. Allan Shaw later recovered a couple more stones from the same farmer, and we (Me and fellow Kansas Meteorite Socierty member Jerry Calvert) purchased one from Shaw last year. Currently trying to raise money for a desired (by us) Kansas meteorite. We have about 2 kg. for sale and are willing to cut slices at size request.

Slices will be cut as close as we can to requested weight and all slices will have crust.

Sales of the KSU meteorite started last week. Like most of the meteorites me and Jerry acquire we will be keeping most of it. However, 50 grams has been set aside for resale. (Which is strangely a lot compared to what we have offered on some of our other meteorites...such as Wild Horse or Wichita.)
Only 24 grams is left for sale, as every piece I has thus far offered has sold. It is a little pricey at $35.00/g., but being "found on a secretary desk as a paperweight", it has a neat story. Also to keep anyone from paying more then $35.00/g I have been using set price auctions on ebay which some seemed to appreciate.
Like, Eads, I can cut to order. However, the biggest piece for sale is only a little over 6 grams. (Granted, if I was offered the Willamette for my piece....)

Me and Jerry also have a few new U.S. meteorites in the works, but we tend to put the meteorite through the system before we mention much about them and I will honor that. Purchased from the finders. I don't think either me or Jerry will go down as great hunters. Wait, I take that back. We are excellent meteorite hunters, we have all our gear. Just a terrible meteorite finders...:-)
