All of these comments are extremely interesting and to the point. It is
something I have pondered and I appreciate everyone's chiming in to bring us
all up to speed.

Interesting... how big was that meteorite?
The reason I ask is because I have an ear witness of the fall a couple
of years ago in Sweden. Two boys were spending the night in a tent and
they heard the detonation and a hissing sound. They thought it was a
trailer that had sprung a leak on a tyre

One man in Park Forest that I purchased a meteorite from was driving to his
house in Park Forest and was at the stop light at the north central part of
Steger when he saw the fireball flash and extinguish.
He went through the light and drove home. He parked his car in front
