Hi everyone,
If you look in Google Earth, you'll see the lakes and other structures
are on the flanks and lava flows of various volcanoes of the Cascade
Range. Between Olallie Bluff and Mount Jefferson you have a whole
bunch of lakes that have formed in the remnants of glacial terrain.
Volcanic
Harvey Lake,
44.752438 -121.768857 1.604 km el, .3 km NS,
on a slightly larger flat step,
5 km S of Dark Lake,
with smaller lakes nearby,
including one right on the high rim to the NW,
to the E of Lake Hilda.

Fish Lake
44.833249 -121.813345 1.299 km el,
0.93 km wide EW rim to rim,
1.403 km el at edge to SE, 104 m higher,
without drainage.
Note nearby ponds as small as 20 m.
Study Google Maps Terrain --
looks like an impact crater,
between Sisi Butte and Dark Lake.
These coordinates were sent to me from someone on the web who wanted
to know if this spot was an impact crater.

It looks a bit weird, but I'm thinking possible volcano.
Does anyone have any thoughts or opinions on this?

Looks volcanic, possibly enhanced by logging creating different sized
tree-lines.
