Bernd and List, I was very active as an amateur meteorite enthusiast for a number of years, then sort of dropped out of the loop for several years in the 1990s. As I've been getting back into it the last several years, I've been trying to catch up on the new developments and finds. Subjects that I've so far found little explanation or description of are the CH and Bencubbinite (CB?) classes. The popular literature has little detail as far as similarities and distinctions from other classes, like CRs for example. Can someone point me in the direction of the appropriate journal articles or other material to read on these?

Unlike any other meteorite, small balls of metal Hello Rex, Mike, and List, While leafing through the invited review in MAPS 37-11, 2002, I found the following piece of information which I would like to share with you because it explains in simple words why Gujba is a member of the carbonaceous meteorite clan: "The CR clan chondrites are considered carbonaceous because their whole-rock elemental abundances and oxygen-isotopic compositions are similar to those of the carbonaceous (CO, CK, CV, CM) chondrites."
