Doesn't Mike's displayed collection and furnishings (especially the cabinet and
the apothecary jars) just strike you as so late 1800's? It's like looking into
the past ...the age of discovery..while of course knowing the present and all
that those specimens have told us.

to your favorite magazine, just a few issues back (which issue exactly,
Anita?).
You'll see there how Anita managed to display a lot of Rikers on one wall.

similar made of cardboard. It was to be a prototype but it works fine for now.

I like your display and think you have utilized your space well. The
problem you, I and all of us have is what do we do as our collection
increases. The other problem is I display parts of my collection for
astronomy events and once a display case is set up I resist breaking it
down.
