What an awesome picture! Real or not it sure does feed the imagination an allow
you to imagine the trip in from a birds-eye-view.
That said, something about the altitude at which the photo was taken looks odd
to me. Do commercial planes fly that high?

I thought even large meteors go dark below about 30 miles. He's in a
plane no more than 8 miles high and looking down or across the
meteor. No way is it real.
