Hi Mark and List,
Thank you for putting together the info page on the Tessera meteorite(s).
Prior to reading Dieter's information, I have to admit that I'd been
pretty much neutral on the subject, mostly due to ignorance. While
I'd seen pictures, I had never seen any of the meteorites in person
Farmer,
nobody cares about your problems with Matteo.
THIS IS NOT RELATED TO METEORITES !

Hello Everyone, Did anyone else notice that Matt Morgan and Jurvis Breikss have a Worden article in the next...or very soon to be delivered Meteorite Magazine? I am surprised this "hammer", about 1/10th the size of Peekskill, has gotten as little as attention on the list as it has. When Matt
Hi Mark,
I agree with youthis hammer has
gotten ZERO publicity. When you look at the damage to the car it is pretty
impressive. I was lucky to get a 5.6g partial crusted slice w/ PAINT on it from
Matt. I look forward to the article.
All the best,

Hello.
I want to describe one protection method for iron meteorites that I use
from
some time with good results.
I just have many slices of Dronino from one 5kg specimen. Like everyone
know, this is verry dangerous meteorite if is not protected.
First I alvays clean irons in ultrasonic
Who are you? Another Matteo synonym?
Never heard of you. It is not my problem, it is all our problem.

Hullo!
If anyone is interested I am selling this stuff again because I sold it to a
customer but I was not able to guess the weight as my scales only measure to
0.1 accuracy and when he reweighed in on receipt (which of course he should
do as it is so expensive) he found it it rather too
Mike,
Someone posting stupid photoshop photos on a little traveled website is NOT
a 'problem'. If thats the biggest thing you have to worry about, then I
certainly envy you. Personally I worry about things like 'how am I going to
pay for that next kilo of martian meteorite' or 'where is the

I agree with Mike. He is our problem. We have a guy who has been asked to leave the list, yet continues to post under assumed names and e-mail addresses, his latest with the names of other businesses attached (mine). Yet people continue to
Hi All,
Here's my final installment on the festivities at Tucson 2004. As
usual, following the birthday bash at La Fuente, many returned to
Blaine and Blake's room for nightcaps and more fun and games. One of
the more interesting and useful meteorites in the Reeds' room was a

Rob and list Thank you for taking the time to share your "adventure" Rob. It is always nice to see a different view of the events. I think we all are thankful you saved us a trip out to the (wet) lake bed. Perhaps next year nature will be more kind to us.
Dear List;
Here is what I did on Tucson's big weekend! First I got a call from
John Gwilliam wishing me a happy snowstorm. Then I went dancing and
partying (drove two miles from home). Met lots of interesting people
that know nothing about rocks or meteorites. .Tucson has a rock
show?

SPIRIT UPDATE: Mega Drive - sol 43, Feb 16, 2004
Spirit spent the wee morning hours of sol 43 gathering data about a

Hello List, am I a true meteorite collector or just sick?I was
daydreaming tonight (?) while sitting in my back yard about seeing a huge
fireball and having meteorites showering down all around me. I then asked
myself this question and thought seriously about the answer, if a was lucky

It is all wrong,
You scream loudly until family and neighbors gather round
and you have them take pictures first. Then have someone
rush to a phone and call a newspaper photographer.
Don't allow anyone to leave until you have their signed
affidavits.

Gee Tom, you wimp, I would cut the broken leg off at the knee and mount it next to the meteorite on a wall.
