I have listed two of my former collection pieces on eBay. On is a capsule
with 0.33 grams of fragments and dust from the famous Orgueil CI1
chondrite:

Just a stab, I'd think you need to compare the formation processes and
ingredients on hand when the silicates and silica formed.

Forgot to mention, for ordinary chondrites, you'll notice that there is
actually a 50-100% greater ratio of Oxygen (to Silicon), in olivine,

In retrospect, I believe I saw the trail it left behind, although I didn't see
the actual meteor. It did look remarkably like a jet contrail. I saw it on my
way to work Wednesday morning (I do look up at the skies as I walk to work) and
noted it because we see very few jet contrails in Hawaii
