The Cultural Property Export and Import Act came into force on September 6,
1977.
So any meteorites exported before this date are clear of this law.
Re: Bruderheim, Piece River, etc...
Again, here is the Canadian Heritage site for ALL the info regarding this.

True, Eric Twelker has a blanket permit for all the Tagish fragments out
there.
Abee has a permit from Russ Kempton of NEMS.
But one must be careful not to export one of these or other Canadian
meteorites
which has not been exported yet. In that case a new permit is required.

Hi Shawn, List,
Meteorites, strewnfields, and the distribution of meteorite material in

spot on and really gives you a good understanding of the dynamics and

Aziz,
A simple specific gravity test ( bulk density) might answer this question
whether it's an Iron or a Winonaite or a meso or ?.
The SG should be between 7 and 8 if an Iron. Something less if something else.
Mesosiderite would be around 4-ish. And pallesite just under 5-ish.

Nice try but, it seems obvious that you have no idea how classifications work.
If you recall in a recent post by Bernd. It was made perfectly clear that what
determines a class has more to do with the O-isotopes than the actual lithology
or chemistry of the rock.
