I agree with Rob Matson:
West-to-east, long-lasting, slow-moving fireball sounds like the description
for a re-entry of man-made space-debris event.
Is it more than a coincidence that the Columbia Shuttle accident was 9 years
ago to the day, AND that the path of the fireball was very close to

Hi List,
This is an oddball request. While digging through the massive heap of
stuff we have in storage, I ran across this really nice watch. I have
no idea where it came from, or how it came to be in our stuff. I've
never seen it before. At any rate, after doing a little research on
the web,

Gary, List,
If it's not a planet, why do we call it a dwarf PLANET?
Do you refer to everyone you know who is less than
five-foot-ten as a dwarf person? So-and-so isn't a person;
he's a dwarf person? Adjectives do not negate the thing
they describe.
So, we have dwarf planets, gas planets, rocky

Seriously though, if you count all the other trans Neptunian objects, such

Hi Sterling, Phil, and List,
It's all a matter of semantics. Every rock circling the sun from
fist-sized to Death Star is a fellow traveler in the cosmos, all
moving in unison towards the center of mass of our Local Group of
galaxies, which is in turn moving on it's own interstellar course to

Well, they COULD be planets, but we have
not been able to determine if they are round

Hi Yinan/Bob/List,
Great video! My guess is that the police car was pointed to the NNE

Hi Mike,
Revelstoke is a famous fall that occurred a long time ago (and the tiny
meteorite fragments were recovered not long after the fall). Not sure
why it's appearing in the latest Bulletin since it was in Meteoritical
Bulletin #34 back in 1965. Perhaps there is updated information on
the fall
Well we only have 14 left. Maybe more can be officially added this year.
