Hi List,
Is it me, or are we seeing lots more activity than usual in recent weeks?
Or are we just becoming more aware of these events through the increase in
All Sky Cameras, and people in general being more inclined to report these
things, perhaps knowing more about what they are because of

I'm just back from Tucson. It was great seeing everyone

A catalogue of the series of Venus transits covering thousands
of years can be found at the URL below. Despite often occurring
in pairs, each transit in the pair belong to different series:
Thus, the transits of 1518, 1761 and 2004 would belong to one

Hello, List.
I had a great time this weekend, saw some amazing meteorites, and
chatted with some great people. Here are a few photos I took this
weekend. Thank you to all the dealers who gave me permission to take
a picture of their displays.
Thank you, Michael! Finally a photo of Twink's Gold Basin cake!
The giant amethyst geode and Mr. Big-Mouthed Jaw are also
breathtaking!
Cheers, Bernd

Hi All,
I'm finding conflicting information about Kevin Palivec's camera

This site says he's in Hawley, TX:

But THIS site says he's in Coleman, TX:

Which is correct? If the camera is in Coleman, a fall location as

Hi All,
Kevin may be operating two cameras. The video on this website:
http://elpasoallsky.blogspot.com/
is labeled correctly -- the camera location is a little NE of
Coleman. Dirk: you'll want to correct the camera location
indicated on your website here...
Between the pairs of transits eight years apart,
there is either 105.5 years or 121.5 years to the
next pair (depending on the series). The nest
transit after this one is on Dec. 11, 2117. Given
our increasing longevity, a toddler of today could
well be alive in 2117.
Oops! I failed to read all of the thread before jumping in there.
Apologies to Doug and thanks to you Sterling, for clarifying the 'series'
aspect.
