G'day List,
I am looking for the paper on Shock Stage written by Stoffler.
If anyone has it in PDF (or other form too) I would greatly appreciate it. Even
a link if it is available on line would help.
Thanks,

Don't worry, Toutatis has a 0% chance of impacting the Earth. It has flown

Greetings All,
We are waiting for a couple of articles to get finished. One of our

Hi everyone, I have enjoyed the last two months off
the list, but am starting to get bored so I am coming back today. I trust from
what I've heard from people that the list has calmed down and the fighting has

More will come soon, when

How does he know that a meteorite has landed? Got satellite data? Has somebody found meteorites? Is there a big hole in the ground or somebody's house get smashed?

Good Day George and List;
I tend to agree here with George.
Is it me, or about every week there is a a news report about some
unproved meteorite landing in Australia. Is this stuff released by the
bureau of tourism?
I suppose that is the equalivant of saying a meteorite landed on the
Hello,
My question is about mesosiderites and their composition.
I have just been reading the bit on mesos in Harry Mcsween's magnificent
Meteorites and their Parent Planets . He states, and I quite, on pg
210-211:
Many of the silicate fragments in these [mesosiderite]meteorites are very

Hi Anne, Dave and List,
I believe those clasts are orthopyroxene not olivine judging by the

Hello List,
Back after a nice vaca in the keys. No meteorites there, but lots of
sunken ships!. Have a question:
I have a nice 1kg piece of Brahin , shaped like a pie slice. It is
crusted on the 'pan' edge side. It is very stable for Brahin, and yes -
I got it from Finmet - 4 years ago.
