Hi,
This is the tenth
anniversary of the announcement
of the "announcement" that the Martian
meteorite
Allan Hills 84001 contained evidence of ancient
microbial life on Mars, triggering a
decade of
controversy.
This article sums it
up nicely:
for the moment its arrive to 230 kg.calculate
other kilos found in this days its arrive to 300 kg.

Good evening all,

According to Arizona Skies, at least, thousands of kilograms have been
recovered
Hi Dave,
Thanks for making a special point about Tom's pictures.
Here is another link about Tom. This article was the genesis of the
coverage he is now getting in the Meteorite Times.

Oh, and stay tuned for the next
Your right Dave- it is sickening to me to see stuff
like this. People don't appreciate what they really
have. I doubt it's impressing many true meteorite
collectors (or jewelry collectors for that matter).
Take care

Greetings
I have a few eBay auctions closing tonight, including an autographed
hardback book Rocks from Space, a nice tatahouine still at less than $5/gm
and a piece of ghubara currently unbid on with only a penny to open. Check
them out at the following URL.
Dear Dave, Mike and List,
I also find this appalling; first we had carved
apes, carved turtles and other debauchery (by other
meteorite dealers followed by others)..what next
carved coprolites made from meteorites??
This seller also appears to be a member in good
standing in the IMCA

Hi all...
Just noticed that my homepage of choice Dave's Web of Lies (
http://www.davesweboflies.com/ ) has a meteorite related lie of the day
today (Monday, 7th August 2006), it's not one of their best by a long
shot, but I thought it was worth a quick mention, particularly if you've

Maybe it´s this formation at:

Just a guess

No sooner did I send the previous mail and I noticed that there are
actually 6 other meteorite related lies on the site (not one as I stated
below). Just choose 'Database of lies' and search for meteorite.
Apologies for the additional mail...
Matt.

Stefan and List,
Thank you Stefan! That is virtually what I have.
The Google coordinates I have been studying for
almost three months are 31.025349N,36.482491E measured
at the centre of the crater. The diameter that I get
using the google measure is 5.8Km for the outer ring.

Hm. The Google Earth measure tool can give mesurements in Smoots. A bit of
Googling turned up this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smoot

Here is a nice little list of both new and used books. It includes books priced

I also have a meteorite sale listed at the bottom of this page. So make sure

10-15 times faster than using a plastic pick.
