Is there a shock wave from an explosion of a bomb--satallete
or any other orbiting item. With no air in space I would tend to think
there's no shockwave.

satellite. What I guess they'll do is turn it into a debris cloud, and
the individual components will separately decay and burn up over the
next few months (or years).
