Hey Ruben, It seemed to work well from your home network. Hopefully
there will be a good connection at the auction, it will be great if
people who can't make it to the auction can watch LIVE!

Hi,
Eric, I was using WiFi when you viewed the live feed, so if the
strength is sufficient it will work. However, a direct connection is
better no doubt. We will wait to get confirmation from Mike about
internet at the hall and take it from there. If there is none I will

Ruben, a Broadband connection through Verizon Wireless, or another
carrier will work. There might be some lag, but the speeds are fast
enough to stream low resolution audio/video. Bandwidth or data charges
might apply depending on carriers. WiFi of course would be good but
might not be reliable
What about WiFi?

THAT was my concern, and somehow the venue does not give me the impression that
any internet connection would be available. But maybe there is another

Hi,
I think there may be a way to do this even without High Speed internet
at the Hall , via a cell phone connection. I will look into this.
Anyone else have any idea's? Please let me know.

Can't find how to stream direct to Youtube. Is this possible?

Michael, setting up a Facebook page as Richard and MikeG suggested is a
good idea. It will bring even more people to the auction via the web.
Youtube should be able to host the streaming feed. Not sure how that
works really as I've never tried it.

Hi Richard and List,
This is a super idea. The auction should have it's own FB page. :)

Hello all
I have some auctions ending on EBAY in about 22 hours.
For sale are some affordable small fragments /slice of some very rare
meteorites.
A good occasion to acquire material of some rare meteorites without paying much.
Have a look if you like.

Sounds like the Auction should have a Facebook page, both to promote the
auction and for people to post text, pictures and video clips right from their
phones. Probably the easiest way to do this with the lowest need to provide
infrastructure.
