Thanks Walter and Gregory for posting these awesome
images! If anyone else has "vintage" meteorite art they would like to
share, I for one would be very
appreciative!

A good friend of mine, and an avid meteorite collector
just had her entire collection of meteorites stolen out of her car. She
and her husband (military) are moving and she had the whole collection boxed
andin her car so she could hand carry it on their flight. I just
talked to her briefly
I should also mention that the collection was stolen in
Anchorage Alaska. I am the most local dealer in that area, so I am hoping
they come to me. However, if they surf the web, I won't be someone they
find.
Thanks,
Jeannie

I have to say I was tempted at one point to get
those little weird makeup spheres, just for the name! But somehow I just
couldn't bring myself..
And for sensitive skin, achondrite is definitely
the way to go.

This is an interesting question. I have been a collector for some time now,
and I was one of those kids who always came home with a pocket full of rocks
from wherever I went. Sometimes I liked the way they felt, sometimes the
color, sometimes the shape, sometimes I liked it because it looked
Then I guess you'd better have a salad!
Then you can come mow my lawn, take out the garbage and fix my car! ;-))

Dear Ladies;
Maybe we should have a reverse poll, how many meteorite gals like to
cook, or for that matter sew?
I am hungry and my pants don't fit!

Damn, and I thought that this subject title was

There was a really great full slice of Gibeon at Magic Mountain Meteorites'
booth at the Pueblo in Tucson this year. About 3/4 of the slice had a
pattern that was oriented 90 degrees, but around the edges on one side, the
pattern was oriented at 60 degrees. Very cool!
