Hello New Collectors ( and everyone else too!),
I have been collecting meteorites since soon after NASA made the
announcement in August, 1996 of ALH 84001. Some on the list have been
collecting more than I, some less. I would like to share with those new to
the collecting field how I go

Some of you may remember several years back my several part tale of my dramatic
involvement (and lack therof) in the breaking of the ALH84001 fossils story.
For what its worth, I think that those strcutures are fossils, based on my
conversation at that time with Dr. MacKay's SEM

I just saw these for sale at the Exploratorium when I
was visiting in San Francisco, and the fact card with it does tell
the true story of the meteorite having been found in Antarctica and that
the evidence is widely debated. It is a very cute stuffed
toy!
