I think a top ten list would be much more effective. There could be an overall 10, a beginner 10, an advanced 10, a historic 10, a scientific 10, a representative (teaching) 10, or a personal 10. But as Mike noted with: “NWA 998 - very interesting Martian that holds it's value well.” The

I believe Orgueil was the first meteorite suspected to contain life. And also a good candidate for every list. 84001 would be the first for Martin life however. And I think Tucson needs no human help to get on a list. But if money is a criterion then Lost City should be on the list twice since it

Interesting point Mike. I think I was looped in on the stimulus for such a reply as well. Been a few years. But in reality, museums and even NASA make lists of display and collection specimens. I can easily imagine ALH84001 landing on one of those lists. Spending time with ALH84001 was on my

Hi Mendy and all, Good list for sure. Some of those are hard to get. Just a note that I have listed in the past 4 months, or will list about 35 our of the 60. Easy to say, but any Nininger item would be a great part of any collection. Even if you only have one Nininger Item. Happy collecting!
