If a large meteorite is spinning fast, having large ruff surface area, Can this cause the meteor to curve, when coming in contact with the atmosphere, like a curve ball in Baseball.

Can a spinning meteor explain the difference in the Carancas meteorite original trajectory and impact orientation, and can the spin help protect the stone from atmospheric pressure braking it up.

Is this Possible?
