It is fascinating to see the newpaper article posted by Mark Bostick on organic life in meteorites. For those of you who may be interested, I wrote about Hahn and Weinland in Chapter 17 of my new book, Disturbing the Solar System. Weinland was a zoologist and he named a species of coral he found in meteorites after Hahn. He called it Hahnia meteorica. He also believed the Widmanstatten pattern in the Toluca iron was composed of fossilized plants. Alan Rubin
