RE: [meteorite-list] New meteorite website
Hi Sara and list, this IS a wonderful, educational website! Thank you and all the people who helped collaborated. I loved to hear the sonic boom! My first! ;-) If I had seen the image of the dust trail left by the passage of the stony meteoroid at Tagish Lake, I would have known how one looks like when I asked the list about it a few weeks ago and it was the Minotaur launch out of Vandenberg. I will gladly refer to it and will refer the site to other people. Many collectors from the list collaborated to the project and we want to thank them for their precious collaboration. The site Meteorites, messengers from Space is now on-line at the following URL : http://www.planetarium.montreal.qc.ca/Information/Expo_Meteorites/index_a.html Comments and suggestions are welcome! If you like the site, please add its URL to your meteorite website links! Re: [meteorite-list] New Meteorite Website!
Hey Jeff, I checked out your web site and it looks really good. It's easy to navigate and the pictures are great, what did you take them with? I look forward to seeing the updates. Good work :) Graham Christensen [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.geocities.com/aerolitehunter From: Jeff Kuyken [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: Meteorite List [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [meteorite-list] New Meteorite Website! Date: Thu, 2 May 2002 13:31:03 +1000 G'day Everyone, Just letting you know that I've put together a small meteorite website. I'll be selling a few bits and pieces from my collection as I update. I'm going to pass on the pieces at about the same price as they cost me for someone else to enjoy. I'll be quite regularly updating the site as new specimens become available. I've also decided to include a Monthly Favourite because there's a great little meteorite I've obtained several pieces of which I think is really cool. Take a look. I'll update this page every 3-4 weeks as I've got some other pieces which are great too. I think it's good to see different things you may not have seen before and share the meteorite collecting experience with others who enjoy it too. It's taken me a while to put together as only a month or two ago I knew nothing about building a website. So it's just small and simple at the moment but will grow.
