With the help of John Kashuba from California who also bought a piece of this meteorite, it appears that my nice Diogenite is more like a LL4 or maybe even LL5. That would explain the metal, and lack of apparent chondrules on the weathered surface. But the crust so, so nice. :) I'm so good at

a few comments: the crust pic was poorly done. it is really more dark with shiny crust in some spots. overall is very "holy" or frothy looking throughout. I may do some more pics later. the roundish spots on the open face in pic 006, and in the overall crusted face (spot on right) in pic 001
