Hello everyone. I just wanted to say that I am very proud to be a new mwmber
of the IMCA (#6276), and am anxious to start a whole new level of learning
here. I know some of you through other forums, or through stories - good and
bad, but mostly good, and I hope to make more new friends and aquaintanced
along the way. I have been a collector for almost two years now and have a
nice little gathering of space rocks...Here are a few

Several of my emails recently have not gotten through that I know of.

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year. It has been a great year
for NASA (and us as users of the bounty of returned data) and there will be
more to come in 2005.

the great (usually ;) ) resource it is.

[meteorite-list] Hello List!

2003-08-21 Thread Christopher Scott

Whoo hoo! I finally made it on after many attempts!
I've been reading the archives and have been quite impressed with the
list.

I am new to collecting, but have always been
interested in science and space. I was on the Board of a local astronomy club a
few years back (when we had access to a 15" refractor--the largest such scope in
amateur hands) and even taught some astronomy 101 classes. My collection is
small but growing.Ihave severalmicromounts, but a few larger
pieces.

Thanks for having me and I promise I won't ask too
many new guy questions ;-)

Hello Christopher,

Welcome aboard neighbor. You are about one
hour away from my brother, Greg and I as we are located in Renton. I
noticed over the last few years the collecting community has increased
dramatically around here. Maybe when there is enough of us we should all
get together and compare finds. That goes for anybody connected to this
list if you are ever in the greater Seattle area.Again,
Welcome!

All the best,
