I still have about 1 kilos of beautiful fragments from a large stone, and I sold the main mass, over 2 kilos to one of my good customers. This one fell through the cracks. Hi all, Does anybody have any information about following meteorites ? There are names but they are not official ? Does anybody know a current status of each of them ? Do they become official ? Have there been sent samples for classification by anybody ? Christian, I have been trying to get Lampayrie/Batiawo as I called it, classified and accepted for years. I gave Ted Bunch samples at least 3 years ago, and he lost it, or forgot about it, whatever, it seems it need sot go to someone else to work on. Hi Mike and Christian, Ted has sat on a sample I sent him (although I doubt it was a meteorite). Never got back to me when I asked him about it and I gave him plenty of time and would have gladly paid him for at least giving me his professional opinion. Needless to say the people involved at very upset with me and him.
