Folks:
I'm trying to modify my config to remove '[EXTERNAL]' from messages that are
posted to my lists.
I thought it would be quite simple to implement using this:
s/\[EXTERNAL\]//;
However, when the messages show up in my archives, [EXTERNAL] is still in the
message and on the threads.

Folks:
I'm looking for ideas here ... no clue if it's even possible.
I'd like to create an archive that only contains NEW threads and not replies.
My plan is to create a RSS feed of new threads that I can setup a feed to
Facebook.
Thanks!

I'm not a perl coder ... can anyone give me some hints on how to have mhonarc
modify links, to external sites, that are generated so I can add redirects or
tracking code (like Google analytics)?
I'm assuming it will have to be done in a mime filter module.
Thanks!

Folks:
Has anyone considered the idea of using one of the URL shortening
services (tinyurl.com, etc) to automatically process URI's in messages
processed by mhonarc?
When people on my lists post URL's, they are quite often long and
unwieldy ... it would be nice if I could automatically trans
Does anyone have a mrc file that generates content specifically designed

Oh boy, talk about a panic ... I was playing around with some new
formatting on my archives and added a new TNextButtonIA tag ... but I

Strike that question ... it works fine.
In my mrc file I set this ...
$SUBJECTNA$,
$FROMNAME$
And it works fine ... when the user hovers over the link, the message

Folks:
Does anyone know if there is a way to add additional attributes to the
subject link in an index?
I would like to add a title="$X-MSG-PREVIEW$" attribute to the subject
links (I'm running my messages through mha-preview), so I can get a
message summary displayed when the user hovers over th

I've started using the mha-preview so I can include a fragment of the
message body in my mhonarc generated RSS feeds.
Until the database is properly populated with the preview data, I'm
getting a lot of output that includes $X-MSG-PREVIEW$.
Is there a way I can set X-MSG-PREVIEW to blank if it's
In addition to generating standard archives with MHonArc, I'm also
generating an RSS feed for messages to my lists.
I'd really like to see the ability to include a fragment of the actual
message so a RSS excerpt can be included.
Ideally the fragment could be configured to skip obvious quotes.

Does anyone know if there is a way I can setup my MRC file to give
individual mail headers specific styles?
I've had requests to suppress some of the information on the archives so
it doesn't show up by default. Specifically, they want the Subject,

Has anyone ever tried to setup mhonarc so that email addresses are included

The idea is to create a custom ADDRESSMODIFYCODE routine so that a graphic

Folks:
Does anyone know of a way to mask email addresses that appear inside the

Masking the addresses that appear in the header's is automagic, but for
privacy reasons, I would like to mask addresses that appear in the body of
