Ah, my first megathread... sorry for the late response but I was away over
the weekend. Peter, thanks for finding the bad in the hRecipe example on the

hi all,
a question: when contemplating over the feature set of hRecipe it occured to
me that i don't seem to get the rational of mixing vocabularies in all it's
subtleties. e.g. why should i add rel-tag to the hRecipe vocabulary when
people can use rel-tag anyway on any element they want to? likew

Hi again,
I'm indulging in hRecipe optimization and advancement today...
Early this year, when hRecipe had just reached Draft-status, Tantek raised
his head and cautioned that the format may contain too many elements and
that it's a *principle* of microformats to start (and maybe stay) small. I

Hi,
I mapped hRecipe to an RDF vocabulary and added it as RDFa to our site
www.essen-und-trinken.de. The RDF mapping is documented on the wiki
http://microformats.org/wiki/hrecipe-rdf. I'd be glad to get some feedback!

Hi,
we had a discussion on the hRecipe issues page if we should reuse the

history suggests that there has not been much development going on for quite
some time, but the format itself looks fairly stable and well worked out,

yeah, well, if it was a list of recipes that would make quite some sense.

hi,
in hRecipe we use "recipe-title" to avoid the problems with the "title" tag.
but this is ugly and it doesn't scale - it's not reusable in other

I've incorporated some comments from the wiki into my proposal from october

Hi,
I'd like to edit the property list and field details on the

a rather subjective task. I would try to be very consensual but still ...

Hi Toby,
I like the reuse of existing vocabularies but I'm wondering if it could be
done in another, less involved way. The way you do it also scarces me a
little because I find it hard to judge how stable vocabularies like those of
donnafales.com or holygoat.co.uk are. And what if there where two

Hi,
I'd like to propose the development of an RDFa serialization of Recipe.
I'd like to extend Recipe to become:
* Recipe, the vocabulary
* hRecipe, the Microformat serialization of that vocabulary
* aRecipe, the RDFa serialization.
The motivation for this has both a vocabulary side
Hi,
following Tantek's advice on how to garner more interest for my recent
submissions to hRecipe I created a seperate issues page and made some
changes to brainstorming - most of them rather cosmetic, but you better

I also added most of the suggestions and comments that I had posted on t

Hi there,
I'm working at "essen & trinken" [1], a fairly popular website [2] about
cooking in german. One of the main features of the site is a collection of
about 10.000 recipes, all actually tried, categorized, etc. They are
published as HTML 4 pages. We would like to make that collection more
