Got around to making some of these changes today. Actually not as
many as I'd expected to. The pages with slightly tweaked references
to ‘HTML or XHTML’ are:

Right, I'll put this on my to-do list. I don't know how much work
it's going to be yet, but let's say I'll plan to start updating pages
on Friday. That's the rest of the week for anyone else to object to
the change.

I'm all for it. I'd love to take this even further, and s/XHTML/HTML/ in
XMDP and XFN, but those ships have sailed.
