Not sure this is a good thing since, from the article, it looks like
they're already inventing their own.
If they're simply using more semantics in their HTML, that's great!
BUT, that doesn't mean they're microformats without going through
community process.
So, I support their adoption
Just an update on this; Daniel of Digg got back to me and the change
is in the release branch. We should see the fix go live in about a
month.

For the record, that's how I tag my blog posts -- using links
throughout a post. Not many people are aware of this convention
however, nor the reliance on the last URL fragment as the actual tag.
Still, that reliance allows me to embed meta characteristics without
the awkward list of tags
