Key Skills:
* Minimum of 3 years of System Administration experience on LINUX,
HPUX, AIX and Solaris and their associated hardware platforms.
* Minumum of 3 years of experience with Volume Management for HP,
AIX, Solaris and Veritas.
* Minimum of 1year of experience with SAN systems and Emulex
interface cards.
* Minimum of 1year of experience with Server Virtualization
practices and policies.
* Minimum of 3 years of UNIX shell programming.
* Minimum of 1 year experience with UNIX software packaging tools.
* Minimum of 1 year of experience with Red Hat Linux
Administration.
Context:
The ideal candidate would have experience in the configuration of UNIX
and Intel servers for deployment into test, development and production
data center environments. All configuration is performed remotely,
there is no physical access to the data center where the machines
reside. The Day-to-Day requires loading and configuring a UNIX server
containing a basic O/S with a client provide standard configuration.
This is followed by additional products such as middleware, automation
tools for backup and file allocations, as well as agents for performance
management, inventory and monitoring.
*3 years of System Administration experience on (LINUX, HPUX, AIX and
Solaris) or Windows and their associated hardware platforms.
*3 years of experience with Volume Management for (HP, AIX, Solaris and
Veritas) or Windows on Intel Platforms
*1 year of experience with SAN systems and Emulex interface cards.
*1 year of experience with Server Virtualization practices and policies
*3 years of UNIX shell programming.
*1 year experience with UNIX software packaging tools

VMWare and server virtualization with ratios of 10-20 to 1 server
virtualizations
