I'm thinking about to install new MiKTeX version (my current is 2.9).
However, the question arises: CTAN contains earlier version than
MiKTeX.org tells about. Previously I downloaded the latest one from CTAN
and installed it locally, now the only way is to install basic version

In https://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/systems/win32/miktex/setup/windows-x64
you'll find setup-4.2-x64.exe which is the full installer (64 bits).
In https://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/systems/win32/miktex/setup/windows-x86
you'll find setup-4.2.exe which is the full installer (32 bits).
