Each time the daily script is run, the two hard disks are woken-up - I
could not yet clearly identify wich line of code actually wakes them up
- does someone know this ?

for the personnal use at home using OpenBSD as their operating system ?
I have used Synology NAS server and they use Lunix 2.4 kernel.
For some reasons including security I've mounted since my own NAS with
OpenBSD.

When I boot my machine off of the 4.5 or 4.6 install CD, it powers off
(hard) right before getting to the Install/Upgrade/Shell prompt. I've
been running it with 4.4 without any difficulties for quite some time.
I've found that if I use boot -c and disable usb, it appears to work
find.
How about re-scheduling it so it wakes you up in the morning at the
right time :)
