Hi i installed openoffice3 using pkg_add. After trying to update the package using ports the build fails when it tries to install gcc4.2.2 as a dependency, and the error I'm getting is this: configure error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler cannot create executables. ***Error

I installed OpenBSD4.5 yesterday and i'm having the exact same issue. Removing the ~/.Xauthority file does allow X to start again. just to follow up on that, i did find a duplicate entry in /etc/hosts and removing it has fixed the problem. -- Jamie . PGP Key ID: 0x842DD368
