Some modem (Draytek comes to mind) allow you to set the modem in bridge
mode. At that point it is a atm to ethernet converter. Have a look at
Soekris and Alixboard, used a lot for this exact task.

few Siemens TC35's and it works like a charm. Very reliable and

Is it possible to run systrace on chroot? I get a segmentation fault.
On OpenBSD 3.8-current (GENERIC), Sep 23 2005, i386.
$ su
# chroot -u root / /bin/sh
# exit
This works.
# systrace -a chroot -u root / /bin/sh
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
This does not.
