Hello. Sorry if this is the wrong list! I'm trying to get my OpenBSD laptop
online. I have an HP Special Edition L2000 running 4.5 GENERIC. I bought a
Linksys Wireless-G Ver 2 PCMCIA card, which the man page for bwi says is
supported by the driver:
Linksys WPC54G Ver 3 BCM4318 CardBus b/g
Linksys WPC54GS Ver 2 BCM4318 CardBus b/g
When I boot OpenBSD it only sees the embedded wireless and not the card.

Seeing that "Broadcom BCM4318" match up with the line in the man page I
figured the embedded might work, but 'ifconfig bwi0 up' gives me:
bwi0: base tssi measure failed
but the little blue light for the embedded wireless turns on. When I do
'ifconfig bwi0 down' the light turns off, but no messages.
This is what I get after I plug in the Linksys card:
cardslot0: CardBus support disabled
It's the same line in dmesg whether the card is in or not.
The man page for boot_config gives an example of what to do when you can't
find an Ethernet card, and how to change the IRQ. Could it just be some sort
of conflict? Why would CardBus support be disabled? There is an option in
the BIOS to enable or disable the embedded wireless and I've tried it both
ways. I'm new to OpenBSD and would appreciate any help.
