Are you using antispoof in your pf.conf? if so, X11 forwarding will not
work.

Hi all,
I need to allow X11 services over ssh for my developers on one
openbsd box. Rule for ssh service works ok, but when I try to start a
X11 app (like xterm for example on destination host)
- or a live CD - but I'll cross
that bridge when I come to it. No pun intended.)

I use an intruder table within pf
table intruders file /etc/pf.intruders
Then in pf rules:
block drop in log-all from intruders to any
Then I run this script out of cron on a periodic basis (remove the echo
statements for cron use - I like to run it manually, too)
#!/usr/local/bin/bash
#
to avoid choosing an Adaptec
solution (e.g., Adaptec SCSI Card 39160) if it could
cause problems with the OpenBSD device drivers.
