Hello.
Say I run a websapp inside a chroot and someone manages to hack it and gain
shell access. Can I then somehow hide my server's IP from the likes of ifconfig?
Thanks!
Artur.

The kids almost like any games, as long as they have time to play ;) I will
try to find out what they like first. Thanks everyone.

Hello,
Found an interesting behavior on a Thinkpad T61 running a week old
4.3-current i386 GENERIC. Whenever it boots plugged in to AC, dmesg
recognizes SpeedStep and hw.setperf becomes available through sysctl(8).
On the other hand, whenever it boots while it's on battery, dmesg
doesn't
Hi All,
I am thinking about running a game server for my daughter and her friends. Any
suggestion for a multi-user (with a gui user end). Thanks.
Arthur
I used to install 4.2-release, and then -snapshot (4.3), but long term I
think I will follow -current. However, lots of pages in faq recommend/talk
about install/update from iso/binary packages. Is there any doc/link on how
to run a -current obsd (with base plus some apps, and X)? Thanks.
Arthur
No. cd43.iso is just 5M so I am ok (and already fully loaded) with that.
Hopefully it is just a false alarm. Thanks.

Yes, I will do that with my installation. Thank you.
However, do you think there is something wrong with a speed of 4.2k/s,
regardless what poor routine.

Regarding the new stuffs may be added to the floppy, personally I'd like to
see more NIC drivers. I used to boot floppy to install my P2 PC but later
when I install a P4 (Asus P4P800 MB) I had to use CD since the floppy
doesn't have sk drive.

I am going to spend some more time over this weekend on setting up my OBSD

that. If not, is there anyway to patch it, and how. Google gave
me some pages on how to patch older version of OBSD to support Asian language

Thank you.

Personally I like to use stunnel to wrapper my tcp application to connect to
a ssl server/client. So you don't need to spend too much time on make them
'working together'.
