I have a Delock 2xeSATA PCMCIA card that isn't
configured/recognized(?) on amd64 4.9-current.
Since the sil3512 controller is supported by pciide(4), should it have worked?

If it's not mentioned on the man pages it might (or may not) work with
(or without) issues, so go with the athn(4). I have an AR5413 (Wistron
DCMA81) on an alix 2c1 configured as a BSS, and have lots of problems:

I second that.
Although Nano/Atom-based systems won't be as small as the
