Whoops, there isn't a sure fire way. There was a big batch of orders destined to be shipped from Montana that were scanned by our shipping dept. too early, before the cross-border truck load was scheduled, but still should have gone into the USPS system by the 5th October. Unfortunately, the little post office in Sweet Grass can't always process and scan all the mail that we dump on them the same day. Then the long week end intervened. Our shipping confirmation emails, generated by scanning the green bar codes tags once packages are ready, are not the same scan as the USPS scan which occurs after we deliver them to the post office.
On this occasion, packages that were shipped by Express Post from Canada, were hitting destinations earlier than US mail, particularly the normal first class US mail. Usually normal first class mail shipped from Montana hits locations in the US as fast as Express Post sent from Canada, even if it's a day or two later getting into the MT post office. T-shirts are almost always shipped from Canada due to US customs paperwork complexities for personally carrying them. So this time, a lot of people with in the USA with T-shirt orders got theirs before others got the simple CD orders. We are pretty well up to date on shipping this release, so new "pre" orders are being turned around in a few days already. Thanks for the patience -- and for those who weren't -- well I admire the enthusiasm! Regards, Austin Hook Computer Shop - Milk River OpenBSD Distribution.
