This is really bad that your laptop is dead.. but I personally always wonder how it can be that such over-qualified person can't even earn enough money for a laptop?! I mean it's not a airplane... I'm not a super hacker but I was able to get money to buy a pretty PowerBook5,7 when I needed it...
