For what it's worth I run nextcloud on openbsd. I tend not to use ports
for my web applications, rather i usually install them by hand. It works
fine for me on -stable.
Nextcloud isn't just a fork, the founder and most of the engineering team

there is a package just because it came first. I did see something on a list I
