sysctl machdep.lidsuspend=0 wiil disable suspending when closing the laptop. Machine should resume when opening the laptop or pressing the power button. If not should could have some problems with acpi but for folks to help you out you need to provide a lot more details. -luis On Tue, Jun 30,
