as you can read in the subject, running e.g. setxkbmap us will kill X totally.
I don't see any core dumped or similar.
What can be the problem?
Here you are my dmesg (an zzz froze the laptop and I had to power it
off) and xorg.conf
But X crashed also when not using an xorg.conf (i.e.,
