I've searching an sniffer detector for a LAN in OpenBSD unsucessfully,
but found Sniffdet (outdated) and doesn't compile on
OpenBSD4.8 and in all packages I dont know if there is one, any suggestions
about this?
I need to detect sniffers on my network possibly from Linux or or Windows
Machines.
Try http://openports.se
Use sniff and sniffer as the search queries.
No hay nadie acerca de usted que esta usando OpenBSD. Disculpa mi pobre
Castiliano.
Talvez son gente en Mexico o Colombia.
Ja tente, and use the search above.

I referenced Mexico and Colombia because help from native speakers may

Recently I have taken notice in a growing number of articles concerning memory
sniffing threats. Today's post at The Register they talk about the DaisyDukes
memory sniffer. What disturbed me the most was seeing SSH mentioned. Is this
truly a threat if I am running OpenBSD?

At least, disallow hacker to physical touch your OpenBSD box.
You be free of threat.

No. Read the manpage, look for the option -s.

Hi Chris
Nop. tcpshow decodes pcap files and if the creating sniffer doesn't
write the packet payload it won't show it :( I need a sniffer that will
write into a file (preferably in pcap format) everything coming on the
wire. Ethereal does that, but it doesn't compile on OpenBSD :(
