You have to write xorg.conf yourself. IIRC a Monitor section and
modeline from gtf(1) would suffice.

Starting hiawatha results in:

There is no file of that name found by locate.
There is no directory var/run in /usr/local/
hiawatha runs seemly ok other than the above.
