What arguments did you use to restore with restore? If you found the file using restore, then it should not be zero-length.

httpd setup info?
Hi, I read the man pages for httpd and httpd.conf but I remain clueless. I would like to serve static content (directory listings and contents). Must I use a chroot for httpd? If so, how do I set it up? I have my content in /var/content/webserver/.. I would like httpd to automatically index the contents. Trying to massage the example/httpd.conf didn't work. I get a 403 when I try to access my website. # $OpenBSD: httpd.conf,v 1.18 2018/03/23 11:36:41 florian Exp $ server "example.com" { listen on * port 80 listen on :: port 80 location "/var/content/webserver/htdocs/*" { directory auto index } } Thanks /jl

Re: edgerouter 6 / rdomain at boot

Now lo2 is automatically created when rdomain 2 is created. The problem is that actually /etc/netstart is creating the loopback interface first and so when trying to create lo2 for rdomain 2 the code fails. For now I suggest you remove '/etc/hostname.lo2' and move the route commands to '/etc/hostname.cnmac3' along with '!/sbin/ifconfig lo2 inet 127.0.0.1/8' This needs to be reconsidered, I wanted to auto assign loopback networks on all lo(4) interfaces which are auto created but failed until now. Will look into this at g2k18 again Also you can use rcctl to boot services in different rdomains. Symlink the ftp-proxy rc script to e.g. ftp-proxy_r2 rcctl enable ftp-proxy_r2 rcctl set ftp-proxy_r2 rtable 2 rcctl start ftp-proxy_r2 > !/sbin/route -n -T 2 exec /usr/sbin/ftp-proxy -D 7 > !/sbin/route -n -T 2 add default 127.0.0.1 > > > farin# cat /etc/hostname.cnmac3 > > rdomain 2 > inet 192.168.132.252/24 > up > > > but if i boot the Edgerouter , i got 3 times the message > > ifconfig: SIOCSIFRDOMAIN: File exists > > > and cnmac3 ist not in rdomain 2 > > > if do an manual > > sh /etc/netstart cnmac3 > > everything is fine. > > > i use 6.3 current see dmesg bellow > > > any clue for me ? > > holger > > > > Copyright (c) 1982, 1986, 1989, 1991, 1993 > The Regents of the University of California. This 'disk' is accessible via bsd.rd. All that needed to be done was fsck'ing the partitions (/usr needed help) and updating the system via bsd.rd to be back in business. Another fine example that it takes a lot to wreck OpenBSD, actually. To all devs: THANK YOU! Best, STEFAN
