Intel i350 Offloading not working

2018-07-17 Thread Adonis Peralta

Hi,

I am running OpenBSD 6.3 with a PCI-Express Intel i350T4 Network card.
The card is detected with the em(4) driver but upon looking at the
hwfeatures with ifconfig I notice that none of the offloading features
the card supports are enabled. Looking at the documentation for the
em(4) driver it states that it supports most of the offloading features:

```
“The em driver supports IPv4 receive IP/TCP/UDP checksum offload and
transmit TCP/UDP checksum offload on all but
82542-based adapters, VLAN tag insertion and stripping, and jumbo frames
on all but 82562V, 82566DC/82566DM
and 82573E/82573L/82573V-based adapters. The 82562V Ethernet controller
chip only supports 10/100 media types.”
```

Yet none are enabled. Any ideas how to get them enabled on OpenBSD?

My pertinent dmesg(8) output related to the i350:

```
em1 at pci19 dev 0 function 0 "Intel I350" rev 0x01: apic 2 int 16,
address 00:19:99:d7:88:a2
em4 at pci19 dev 0 function 3 "Intel I350" rev 0x01: apic 2 int 19,
```

ifconfig on my lan port shows:

httpd rewrite, what I'm missing?

2018-07-17 Thread Elias M. Mariani
Hi,
I'm trying to adapt the rewrite rules of OctoberCMS to httpd.conf to
avoid using apache-httpd.

Now everything is working ok with this rules:

-
#example of directory that doesn't need to use rewrite.
location match "/themes/(.*)/assets/(.*)" {
request no rewrite
}

#index.php is the entry point of the application and runs the php fastcgi.
location match "index.php" {
fastcgi socket "/run/php-fpm.sock"
}

#all others locations rewrite to /index.php
location match "(.*)" {
request rewrite "/index.php"
}
-

But for some reason the URLs are working like this:
example.com/forums/openbsd
Works ok, rewrites and everything is OK, but for some reason all the
links point to:
example.com/index.php/forums/openbsd
That also works the same as is the first case.

Now, this URLs are defined by the application, I guess that the
application understands that the base_url (I made the name up...) is
example.com/index.php and not example.com ?

Might this be an incompatibility between httpd and apache-httpd?

Cheers.
Elias.

It is still online, but quite low volume. Nonetheless if it's for use
of PF on a non-OpenBSD system it may still be the best place (as you
didn't mention the OS in your post I didn't want to assume anything
about that).

Off the top of my head I can't think of anywhere more appropriate,
really, as long as it's OpenBSD's PF, not the out of date FreeBSD version.

Anyone got Nagios 4.3.1 web working?

2018-07-17 Thread Ivo Chutkin

Hello everyone,

I try to get nagios 4.3.1 web page working with no luck so far.

It opens first page (main.php) but when I try to get to Hosts, Services
etc. I get 500 Internal Server Error.

On home page there is warning "Unable to get process status" but nagios
seems to be working, I see checks going on, I am getting alerts by

It is on 6.3 amd64, httpd, nagios installed from packages. Configs below.

Is there something I am missing?

I spoke too soon. I only managed to rsync a partially updated CVS tree
from the Stockholm mirror. This morning, the mirror doesn't give me
anything new.
